These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of Koko Collective's Website, located at https://kokocollective.com.au

By accessing this website we assume you accept these terms and conditions. Do not continue to use Koko Collective if you do not agree to take all of the terms and conditions stated on this page.

The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and all Agreements: "Client", "You" and "Your" refers to you, the person log on this website and compliant to the Company’s terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company. "Party", "Parties", or "Us", refers to both the Client and ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the Client in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the Client’s needs in respect of provision of the Company’s stated services, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of Australia. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.

Warranty

Koko Collective do not provide warranties of any kind on any of our products. All  items are handmade by our artisans and may have slight variations in flaws and/or imperfections as the materials used can vary in colour. 

Each piece is one of a kind due to being handmade and no one piece will be like another, they will vary.  

Purchases

All orders placed through our Website or by other means of payment/location are an offer by you to purchase each particular item in accordance with these terms. We reserve the right to accept or reject an order you make using our Website for any reason.  Please select carefully.  While every effort has been made to ensure our products/colours are represented accurately, different colour calibrations of each system can impact your screen reproduction.  Furthermore, we reserve the right to cancel your order and provide a refund should our manufacturer advise us they are unable to supply a particular item. They require a skilled workforce to make our range and labour shortages can occur from time to time. 

Prices, GST and taxes 

All prices on our Website are listed in Australian Dollars and they include GST (where applicable).

By placing an order, you agree to pay the stated price (plus any applicable shipping and handling charges) in Australian Dollars for all orders. 

We reserve the right to change the prices of our Goods at any time without notice to you.

Shipping and handling fees vary due to third party courier pricing. We do not make profit from any shipping fees. Shipping fees change with the service provider engaged to handle shipping.  

Repairs, refunds and replacements 

If the Goods are damaged or not of acceptable quality, you may have rights under:

• Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (the Australian Consumer Law);

• Other consumer laws applying in each Australian State or Territory; and/or

• Our Returns Policy 

Australian Consumer Law

If there is a major problem with the Goods, a refund or a replacement may be available.

If there is a minor problem with your Goods (as defined in the Australian Consumer Law) we may repair the Goods instead of offering you a replacement or a refund.

Unless we are required to do so under the Australian Consumer Law, you will be responsible for the costs of returning the Goods to us.

Please notify us of any damaged Goods within 24hours of possession by email at hello@kokocollective.com.au. 

Product care 

If you have damaged the Goods yourself, or you have failed to take proper care of the Goods we may not be able to provide you with a repair, refund or replacement.  We advise to read our care instructions on our product page for our recommendations prior to purchasing our products.

Change or Cancellation of Orders

As we process your orders immediately for prompt delivery, we regret that cancellation or change to your order may not be possible unless we receive your request by phone or email within 24 hours placing your original order. No cancellation or change of orders will be accepted once your order has been dispatched.

Out of Stock Items

In the unforeseen event that you have purchased an item that is out of stock or unavailable we will discuss with you your options for choosing an alternative item or where possible putting a pre order in for the original item. If you choose to put in a pre order for the original item we will give you an estimated time for filling the order.
If neither of these options suit, Koko Collective will also allow you to cancel your order with a full refund given.

Pricing
Koko Collective reserves the right to change prices at any time without prior notice at our discretion.
All prices include GST and are in Australian Dollars (AUD).
Prices do not include delivery – delivery charges will be applied accordingly.

License

Unless otherwise stated, Koko Collective and/or its licensors own the intellectual property rights for all material on Koko Collective. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You may access this from Koko Collective for your own personal use subjected to restrictions set in these terms and conditions.

You must not:

  • Republish material from Koko Collective
  • Sell, rent or sub-license material from Koko Collective

  • Reproduce, duplicate or copy material from Koko Collective

  • Redistribute content from Koko Collective

Parts of this website offer an opportunity for users to post and exchange opinions and information in certain areas of the website. Koko Collective does not filter, edit, publish or review Comments prior to their presence on the website. Comments do not reflect the views and opinions of Koko Collective, its agents and/or affiliates. Comments reflect the views and opinions of the person who post their views and opinions. To the extent permitted by applicable laws, Koko Collective shall not be liable for the Comments or for any liability, damages or expenses caused and/or suffered as a result of any use of and/or posting of and/or appearance of the Comments on this website.

Koko Collective reserves the right to monitor all Comments and to remove any Comments which can be considered inappropriate, offensive or causes breach of these Terms and Conditions.

You warrant and represent that:

  • You are entitled to post the Comments on our website and have all necessary licenses and consents to do so;

You hereby grant Koko Collective a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit and authorise others to use, reproduce and edit any of your Comments in any and all forms, formats or media.
